Linsey McMurrin

Linsey McMurrin, a citizen of the Leech Lake Nation of Ojibwe, is dedicated to integrating trauma-sensitive, equity-driven, restorative, and culturally responsive practices into organizations, institutions, and systems to create environments where everyone can find pathways to healing and success.
As the Executive Director of Peacemaker Resources, a nonprofit focused on upstream prevention through Social Emotional Learning, Linsey works to strengthen communication, compassion, and connection in schools and community-based organizations. Her leadership provides opportunities to create meaningful change that promotes well-being across all levels of society.
Linsey believes that understanding the root causes of today’s societal challenges is essential to achieving true and lasting transformation. She emphasizes that individuals, families, and communities thrive when equity and empathy are woven into the fabric of daily life.
Her approach centers on authentic connection and empathetic listening, which she sees as the foundation for cultivating inclusive, thriving communities. Linsey’s work reflects her commitment to ensuring that every child and family can grow in environments that foster belonging, resilience, and collective care—today and for generations to come.
