Who is TEL for?
Educational leaders who seek to enact systemic transformation built on a deep foundation of their own inner development. Fellows are committed to integrating an equity perspective and contemplative practices to support the transformation process. TEL Fellows are willing to be vulnerable and hold space for others to do the same while together unpacking the year’s learning opportunities.
Many educational leaders have the desire for transformation. Fewer have the vision, the disposition, and the inner wisdom needed to lead transformation. Leaders are called forward to rise to the challenges of these times through deep inner and outer work.

Engage deeply with thought leaders and members of the TEL Liberatory Learning Community two Wednesdays a month.

4:00pm–6:00pm PST and 7:00pm–9:00pm EST

Fellowship fees are $5,000. This does not include travel or room and board for the two in-person retreats at the Omega Institute. This fee does include countless books and resources including a yearlong subscription to Mindful Magazine. Many districts, schools, and other sponsoring organizations are able to cover the fees. Do not let cost deter you from applying if interested. Limited funding is available to highly-qualified candidates based on need, thanks to our funders the NoVo Foundation and Rare Impact Fund. A payment schedule is also available to make three separate payments throughout the year-long program.
