Simone is a Snipe clan member of the Onondaga Nation. She is a mother of four beautiful children and a grateful daughter to her father John Gonyea and her mother, who has passed wisdom, Diane Jones. She serves the Onondaga Nation Community as the first Onondaga woman administrator of the Onondaga Nation School. Previously, she was the Kindergarten teacher of the Onondaga Nation School for 22 years! The joys of teaching, learning and growing with beautiful Haudenosaunee children has been a true gift. Leading with thankfulness, love and care is truly one of the essential cornerstones of TEL. She was an initial member of TEL in 2018-2019 and from that experience in Cohort 1, she has made meaningful life friendships, started collaborations with deep thinking practitioners who are doing the work! As a member of the TEL advisory committee Simone is looking forward to growing and deepening connections.
