Suzannah Fuller
When she was fifteen years old, Suzannah worked at a preschool where a three year old threw a flower pot at her head when he was escalated. When they were processing what happened, he told her there was a freight train running through his head and he couldn’t make it stop. She knew at that time she was meant to work with students who struggled with emotional regulation. After working with students with emotional and behavioral needs in grades K-12 for eleven years, as a Special Education Teacher, Suzannah realized her calling–it was to become a School Social Worker. Her excitement comes from affecting systems change, which is happening in Greeley School District by growing our Social Work Department exponentially. The district is moving in such a positive direction with Social Emotional Learning and she is so thankful and excited to bring mindfulness back to District 6.
